Dancing, Drama and Singing classes and for Children in Chelmsford

Run by a West End Musical actress and a highly experienced performing arts teacher, Jesters is THE place to discover your talents and sense of adventure!

The atmosphere is happy and relaxed, we believe in learning skills and techniques through fun, and regularly perform full scale productions on stage aided by our professional sound and lighting technicians. We also give public performances and are regularly offered gigs!

All teachers and guest workshop leaders are experienced teachers who are professional choreographers, directors or performers.

Jesters Theatre Academy in Chelmsford, is for children from 2 years old to adult. The Drama, Singing and Dance classes introduce the magic of Musical Theatre to toddlers by teaching them simple routines to songs from all the best musicals. Singing in the Rain, Les Mis, Annie, Barnum, Mary Poppins and many more! Props, costumes and even sparkly hats are provided to bring out the performer in your child!

From ages 5-18 children are taught in Acting, Singing and Dancing, allowing for creative exploration as well as taught routines. Children are treated as a professional company and learn how to implement skills taught into their performances. We also offer exam classes in LAMDA and IDTA for those who wish to further their skill.

At Jesters Dancing, Drama & Performing Arts School in Chelmsford we pride ourselves on maintaining SMALL CLASSES and this makes us unique to other Stage Schools, by keeping the classes small it allows our staff to nurture and develop your child as an individual.

Dance & Drama Classes are run in Chemsford on Mondays and Saturdays and are grouped by age, students take part in Acting, Singing and Dancing and Sessions include creative exploration as well as taught routines and direction.

• Classes take place on Mondays at Diamante Dance Academy Studio, Unit 3D, Beehive Lane, Chelmsford, CM2 9TE and Saturdays at Great Baddow Parish Hall, 19 Maldon Road, Chelmsford, CM2 7DW
