Theatretrain Performing Arts School in Mold offers weekly classes to children from 6 years old to 18 years old.

Each Saturday during term time kids do their classes on Saturdays at 10am-1pm at Ysgol Maes Garmon, Conwy Street, Mold, CH7 1JB

Mold's Theatretrain classes are great fun and build confidence and help to develop the imagination.

Our classes are taught in specific age groups of 6-9 years, 9-12 years and 13-18 years.

Children learn a step by step understanding of the performing arts and previous experience isn't necessary.

At Mold Theatretrain we love to perform and provide many opportunities for ALL our pupils to perform in our local, regional and West End shows!

While Theatretrain’s regular weekend sessions have classes in singing, dancing and acting, DRAMA PLUS will concentrate on Acting and will give children the opportunity to develop their performance skills,improve acting technique and build their confidence, make new friends….and have fun.

At Mold Theatretrain we have high expectations of our pupils but all we ask for is energy, enthusiasm and commitment in the work. All our drama & performing Arts teachers are professionals chosen for their experience and enthusiasm.

• WHERE ARE CLASSES?

• WHAT HAPPENS IN CLASS?

The children are in their own age groups 6-9yrs, 9-12yrs and 13-18yrs.

They have an hour of dance, an hour of singing and an hour of
drama. Each of these classes are taken by different qualified
professional teachers.

The lessons are fun and there's no undue stress attached to them, children can work at their own pace and within their abilities. However a high level of commitment is expected and the students will be challenged!

• HOW MUCH DO CLASSES COST?

The cost is £15.00 per class for the first child, and any other children in the family pay £9 per Saturday. Everyone is invited to attend a FREE trial session and if they wish
to enrol after that we ask for a terms' commitment. (There are several ways of paying for this.)

• SHOWS?

At least 1 main show a year with a variety of other performance opportunities.

All of our children take part in the shows and they are produced to a very high standard, working with Industry professionals.

• WHY?

Theatretrain exists to give children the chance to train professionally in the performing arts and includes all three diciplines guided by
experienced teachers. Ability isn't essential - but enthusiasm is! We want children to really enjoy performing and gain confidence whilst doing so.
