Nottingham - Dancing, Singing, Acting and Drama Classes

NAPA Nottingham Academy of Performing Arts School runs classes for children from 6 years old and adults

NAPA Academy  offers drama classes, stage acting classes and Musical Theatre classes in Nottingham. All students are offered optional tuition for LAMDA and BTEC qulaifications.

Our classes are run on Saturdays and are grouped by age, with 6yrs-12 yrs, 13yrs-18yrs and adults (no age limit for adults).

 NAPA Nottingham Drama school is based in Nottingham city centre at the College Street Centre, College Street, Nottingham. NG1 5AQ.

We are just off North Circus Street close to the Nottingham Playhouse and Albert Hall.  The Royal Centre tram stop and main bus routes are just  a short walk away.

We have access to great facilities.

Both our Drama and Musical Theatre classes take place in large, well equipped studios at the College Street Centre.

With two hour classes costing from just £9.50 per week and workshops with stage and screen professionals, the chance to learn the arts is available to everyone!

NAPA is well known for it's high quality  classes. We offer training in various acting techniques from mime and mask work to Shakespeare and comedy. We also offer acting to camera training along with stage awareness and confidence building.  LAMDA and BTEC tuition is offered to all students.

We have three acting classes available, divided by age group.

Class 1 - for children aged 6-12yrs
Class 2 - for 12yrs - 15yrs
Class 3 - 16yrs and adults (no age limit)   

NAPA MUSICAL THEATRE 

At NAPA  Performing Arts School in Nottingham we offer a Musical Theatre Class. In this class children not only study drama, but also dancing and singing. The art is putting all three together at the same time. We work towards productions that are usually specially written for the children which allows everyone an equal opportunity to perform. As with all NAPA classes we aim to improve confidence and inspire a fun atmosphere.

Classes cost only £9.50 a week and last for two hours and these classes take place on a Saturday.

Musical Theatre classes are divided into age groups.

Class 1 -   6 - 10yrs
Class 2 -  11-15yrs                           
Class 3 - from 16yrs

At the end of each academic year we have showcases. These showcases demonstrate the student's progression to parents and staff.
