At Musical Mania in Circencester and Caterton we provide professional Performing Arts tuition to young people in a safe and friendly environment. All of our tutors at Musical Mania are trained in Musical Theatre and are passionate about working with young people and love what they do.

Why is Musical Mania different from other classes?

At Musical Mania we put a strong emphasis on working on popular and current musicals. We teach children all about the world of Musical Theatre. The singing, dance and acting classes are aimed at children and teenagers of all abilities, we don't have any exams or auditions at Musical Mania so the children can focus on the most important thing which is having fun.

We have a wonderful team of expert tutors who all have experience working in the industry and love passing on their own skills to the children.

Musical Mania is a class where young people learn the three disciplines in Musical Theatre, Singing, Dancing and Acting. The classes are split into age groups:

• STARS - for ages 5-8 years

This class is for little stars aged between 5-8 years. The fun filled class helps to build confidence, encourages learning and inspires creativity. In each class they will sing, dance and act. Over the weeks they will take part in storytelling, creative play and learn lines for their presentation. They will each perform in a presentation at the end of term to show to family and friends.

• SPOTLIGHTS - for ages 9-12 years

This class is for older children who now want to develop skills in singing, dance and drama, so they’ll all love being in the spotlight. Over the term the children get to experience working as an ensemble, improvisation, working with scripts, character work and advancing skills in dance styles and voice and rhythm. They will work towards a presentation based on a popular musical.

• OSCARS - for ages 13-16 years

The class works on the three disciplines of Musical theatre, singing, dance and acting, turning your child into a triple threat. The class is perfect to build confidence, enhance skills and learn from professional teachers. The class will rehearse towards a presentation based on a popular musical. At the end of term they will aim to achieve Oscar winning performances.

Musical Mania classes are aimed at children and teenagers of all abilities. Having fun is an essential part of all our classes. We want all children who attend Musical Mania to sing, dance, act and SMILE!
