At Stagecoach our Early Stages sessions are suitable for 4-6year olds and run for 90 minutes each week. These act as a gentle introduction to our main schools. In the Main Schools children and teens aged 6-18years, learn to sing, dance and act on Saturdays during term time. Each session lasts three hours in total though classes are split into 60 minute sessions of each of the performing arts disciplines.

 For children already doing drama in school, Stagecoach complements the skills learned by improving diction, concentration and improvisation technique. For those not already involved with drama in schools, our drama classes are perfect for building confidence, introducing role play techniques and memorising scripts.

Principal - Sarah Leach - B.A. (Hons.)

Performing Arts and Education has always been a fundamental part of Sarah's life. From being a student of a theatre school, to teaching various ages and abilities.

Sarah has brought a wealth of knowledge and experience to the school which include over nine years teaching all three disciplines in theatre schools, achieving a BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts at college and graduating from Bath Spa University in 2011 with a BA (Hons) degree in Performing Arts.

Sarah has performed various productions including 'Hamlet', 'Macbeth' and 'Nights at the Circus'. A career highlight includes performing 'West Side Story' at the famous Minnack Theatre in Cornwall.

After graduating from University, Sarah became an Early Years practitioner at a Primary School. Specialising in Key Stage 1 was Sarah's main role along with 1:1 support for children with Special Educational Needs.

During this time, Sarah returned to Basingstoke Stagecoach on Saturdays where she continued to teach Early Stages.

Now, Sarah wants to combine all these skills to continue the success of Stagecoach Andover.

All Stagecoach teachers are CRB checked and have access to ongoing training.
