Singing, Drama and Dance are all taught at Sutton Stagecoach part time Performing Arts School

Stagecoach Sutton Surrey offers singing lessons, drama classes and dance classes to children at our venues in Sutton and Carshalton.

Every week during term time children and teenagers do an hour of singing classes, an hour of dance classes and an hour of drama classes.

Our younger students enjoy a 90 minute "early years" session with 30 minutes on each discipline. 

Kids build confidence, stretch their imagination and gain essential life skills at our performing arts classes in Sutton and Carshalton. This is alongside making new friends and most importantly having fun!

We run Early Years classes for ages 4 - 6 years on Saturdays and Sundays at Carshalton High School for Girls.

Classes for Ages 6+ - 16 years are on Wednesdays at Overton Grange School,  Thursdays at Stanley Park School and Friday, Saturdays and Sundays at Carshalton High School for Girls

Further Stages for Ages 15+ are on Thursday evenings at the new Stanley Park High School

Our teachers are all CRB checked and have a wealth of experience and expertise in teaching the performing arts to children.

The student’s response to first-class teaching is outstanding. From the moment the bell sounds in registration all students are focused, attentive and motivated, In all 3 disciplines in each stage, students perform as if their lives depended upon it.

Rachel and Jennifer both trained at Laine Theatre Arts gaining their Trinity Guildhall Musical Theatre Diploma in Musical Theatre and teaching qualifications in dance. Both have had extensive experience in the performing arts such as West End, UK Tours and Luxury cruise liners.

Stagecoach Sutton and Carshalton kids are trained by the best coaches who have all had West End experience themselves.

The main school sessions consist of three hour workshops once a week over the 3 school terms.

Students put on one big show once a year and two themed demonstrations with workshops running Christmas, Easter and Summer.

We have 6 Main School sessions which run from a Wednesday to a Sunday and 5 Early Stages sessions.

Full support and guidance is offered for those who are seeking a career in the performing arts.

Sutton offers students the chance to perform in the West End, representation with the Stagecoach agency or Danika Pickett from Williamson and Holmes who is a top West End agent.

We offer private Trinity Guildhall Drama exams on termly basis and private vocal coaching throughout the week and weekend.  Students are entered in London College of Music examinations.

Students perform full scale productions at 'The Ashcroft Theatre' every 3 years and the Charles Cryer and Secombe theatre on a yearly basis.
