Weekend Drama School!

• What we do

We are a part time & weekend Stage School for kids in Loughton. For nearly 30 years we’ve pioneered an exciting approach to stage and theatre school education in the performing arts for young people aged 6-18.

We teach our kids how to dance, act and sing in our performing arts classes. Creating outstanding opportunities for our pupils to perform on stage in local, regional and famous West End venues. In July 2013 we performed at The O2!

Stage schools bring out the best in students, build confidence, and give aspiring young performers opportunities of a lifetime via our drama classes.

• Loughton Theatretrain Classes

We hold spaces for 3 separate age groups:

Group 1: ages 6-9, Group 2: ages 9-12 and Group 3: ages 13-18. Each group receives 1 hour of Singing, Dance and Drama as they rotate around each class.

We have high expectations of all our children and we ask for energy, enthusiasm and commitment in all our singing, dance and acting classes.

Agency Representation

Theatretrain is now represented by Goldman’s Management. Goldman’s are an established agency, started in 2003 as a specialist children’s agent. The company has now expanded as the children have got older to now incorporate an adults division. • Staff

All our Teachers are DBS checked and is either working in the industry or is a qualified teacher. All our class Dance, Acting and Singing teachers at our Loughton School are experienced professionals chosen for their experience and enthusiasm.

We can offer you various methods of payment to suit your needs.

• A Taster Session

No auditions or previous experience are necessary. All enquiries are welcome to pay us a friendly visit, meet the staff and try out our classes for a discounted price.

At your taster session you will be greeted by friendly staff, guided throughout the process and receive a helpful welcome pack with everything you need to know. No further commitment will be required from you on the day, should you wish to join afterwards you can simply let us know.

Theatretrain Loughton exists to input a lot of fun and professional experience into children’s' lives. Ability isn't essential - but enthusiasm is! We want children to really enjoy performing and gaining confidence whilst doing so.
