Theatretrain Tunbridge Wells is a part time Drama School that provides professional drama classes, dance classes and singing classes for young people aged 6-18yrs.

We have 3 age groups, 6-9, 9-12 and 13-18 and each group gets 1 hour of Singing, Dance and Drama.

Welcome to Theatretrain in Tunbridge Wells where we provide Professional Training in the Performing Arts for children aged 6 - 18 years on Saturdays. The Dance, singing & Acting Classes take place at Meadows School, London Road,Southborough,Tunbridge Wells, TN4 0RJ

Children attend our Singing, Acting and Dance classes from Southborough, Spledhurst, Tudeley, Pembury, Hudlow & surronding villages.

At Theatretrain Tunbridge Wells we love to perform and provide many opportunities for ALL our pupils to perform in our local, regional and West End shows.

Our classes of drama, singing and dancing in Tunbridge Wells are taught in age groups 6 - 9 years, 9 - 12 years and 13 - 18 years. Children learn a step by step understanding of the performing arts and previous experience isn't necessary.

At Theatretrain we have high expectations of our pupils and we ask for energy, enthusiasm and commitment in the work.

All our teachers at our Tunbridge Wells School are experienced professionals chosen for their experience and enthusiasm.

-Classes provided every Saturday between 10am -1pm
-Classes taught by qualified industry professionals
-For 85 children between 6-18 years of age

- To see children going from shy and reserved to standing up and volunteering for solos or other activities

- To see children welcomed and having fun in our warm and friendly atmosphere.

-Regularly bring in experienced industry professionals to take workshops, giving children amazing opportunities by learning from those at the top and being able to ask invaluable questions

- Use my knowledge and experience to guide and advise children who want to take the performing arts further.

-Give children the opportunity to both perform in local shows and come together with Theatretrain centres all around the UK to perform in some of the UK’s most prestigious venues (Past venues include- O2 Arena, Royal Albert Hall, Theatre Royal Drury Lane and many,many more)

- Feedback forms and regular class checks to ensure quality control

Saturdays at 10am - 1pm

HOW MUCH?

The cost is £15.00 per Saturday for the first child, and any other children in the family pay half price.

We are happy for you to pay weekly for a Saturday while your child tries the lessons out, after that we ask for a terms'commitment. (There are several ways of paying for this.)

Theatretrain Tunbridge Wells

WHAT HAPPENS
The children are in their own age groups of 6 - 8yrs, 9 - 12yrs and 13 - 18yrs.

They have an hour of dance, an hour of singing and an hour of acting.

Each of these classes are taken by different qualified professional teachers. The lessons are fun and there's no undue stress attached to them, children can work at their own pace and within their abilities.

SHOWS We are currently performing 1 main show a year.

All of our children take part in the shows!

WHY? - Theatretrain exists to input a lot of fun and professional experience into childrens' lives. Ability isn't essential - but enthusiam is! We want children to really enjoy performing and gaining confidence whilst doing so.
