Theatretrain Performing Arts School in Wrexham offers weekly classes in Drama, Singing and Dance to children from 6 years old to 18 years old.

Each Saturday during term time kids do drama classes, Singing classes and Dance classes on Saturday 10-1pm in Wrexham, classes take place within Saturday 10-1pm at Ysgol Morgan Llwyd, Cefn Road, Wrexham, LL13 9NG

Wrexham Performing Arts School Theatretrain offer drama, singing and dance lessons that are great fun and build confidence and help to develop the imagination.

Our classes are taught in specific age groups of 6-9 years, 9-12 years and 13-18 years. Children learn a step by step understanding of the performing arts in drama, singing and dancing and previous experience isn't necessary.

At Theatretrain Wrexham we love to perform and provide many opportunities for ALL our pupils to perform in our local, regional and West End shows!

Our most recent production was ‘Godspell’ that was performed at The Forum Studio Theatre in Chester in April. You can find lots of photos and videos of the production HERE

While Theatretrain’s regular weekend sessions have classes in singing, dancing and acting, DRAMA PLUS will concentrate on Acting and will give children the opportunity to develop their performance skills,improve acting technique and build their confidence, make new friends….and have fun.

• WHERE ARE CLASSES?

Ysgol Morgan Llwyd, Cefn Road, Wrexham, LL13 9NG

• WHEN DO CLASSES TAKE PLACE?

Saturdays 10am - 1pm

Drama Plus 3.30 – 4.30pm every Monday

• WHAT HAPPENS IN CLASS?

The children are in their own age groups 6-9yrs, 9-12yrs and 13-18yrs.

Children have an hour of dance, an hour of singing and an hour of
drama. Each of these classes are taken by different qualified
professional teachers. The lessons are fun and there's no undue stress
attached to them, children can work at their own pace and within their abilities. However a high level of commitment is expected and the students will be challenged!

• HOW MUCH DO CLASSES COST?

The cost is £15.00 per class for the first child, and any other children in the family pay £9 per Saturday. Everyone is invited to attend a FREE trial session and if they wish to enrol after that we ask for a terms' commitment. (There are several ways of paying for this.)

• SHOWS?

At least 1 main show a year with a variety of other performance opportunities.

All of our children take part in the shows and they are produced to a very high standard, working with Industry professionals.

• WHY?

Theatretrain exists to give children the chance to train professionally in the performing arts and includes all three diciplines of drama, singing and dance, guided by experienced teachers. Ability isn't essential - but enthusiasm is! We want children to really enjoy performing and gain confidence whilst doing so.
