About the workshop

Blag Youth Theatre had another good year at the festival with the kids attaining several placings and ALL achieving Special Merits*.
*Special Merits are awarded to kids scoring over 80 points.

IN DRAMA: 1st place and Finale' trophy for Sophie McCready & Shannon Smyth in the Duologue Acting category (year 10-13) also a 3rd place for Charlotte Beaumont & Rory Jasper in the same class. Zoe Carmichael came 2nd in the Solo Acted Scene, school years 10-13 category and Zoe also came second with Ella McCarthy in the Duologue Acting (Musical Theatre) years 10-13 Class.

IN SINGING: First places for both the Music Theatre and Vocal ensemble classes. (You can see them in action on our Rickmansworth microsite. PLEASE NOTE: This was NOT filmed at the Watford Festival) Joyful Joyful was their second song.
